Developing Media Literacy to debunk gender-related media manipulation and fake news

LTTA (Learning, Training and Teaching Activity)

From April 1 to 4, 2025, the LTTA (Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity) of the #4915b1MEDEA project took place in Novi Sad — an essential opportunity for exchange and growth among the project partners.

During the meeting, the modules that make up the MEDEA Toolkit were presented, a key resource for preventing and addressing gender-based violence in online environments:

  • Skill Up Srl presented Modules 1 and 2, focused on understanding Meta-Level Critical Thinking and strategies to prevent violence on digital platforms 
  • Jelgavas Zonta klubs introduced Modules 3 and 4, dedicated to analyzing forms of online violence, their impact on victims, and effective approaches to tackling gender-based violence.
  • Novosadska novinarska škola developed Modules 5 and 6, which focus on understanding cognitive biases and the application of communication tools developed.

The training activity concluded successfully, sparking a rich and engaging dialogue among professionals and experts.
